Payment Policies

The shipping costs must be prepaid at the time of order. We accept Discover, American Express, Visa, Master Card, Personal Checks & Money Orders. Personal or business checks sent will require processing time before shipments are sent (usually 1-7 days). We accept the following credit cards.

CASH & CARRY/ DELIVERY - We cannot guarantee that there will not be delays above and beyond our control that can delay your shipment. You should not plan your flooring installation date until the actual flooring materials have been delivered to you. Since we ship large quantities of flooring year round, we are able to offer you huge discounts with our freight carriers in which CT Wholesale Flooring can pass the savings along to you. Our shipping discounts can save you hundreds of dollars.

When we receive your order, it is processed, packed and shipped. Processing time is usually between 1-3 days and shipping time is usually between 3-7 days. We provide delivery with all our shipments in the Connecticut area. However, in extremely rare cases you may live in a very rural area or in such a congested area that the freight company may not be able to get their truck into. When you call to set up your delivery with them, you may be asked to pick up your order from our sister store located in Meriden, CT. We can help you over the phone to make the most cost effective decision on your shipping delivery to make sure you are not only saving money on your flooring materials, but also saving money on the shipping costs themselves.

Never refuse a delivery or you will be charged for return shipping and a 25% handling charge. Damaged shipments are extremely rare with our freight company, and can happen even if purchased locally. Any concealed damage seen later should be notified to us within 14 days.

In order for us to complete your delivery, someone MUST be present to accept the delivery and it is your responsibility to bring the flooring into the establishment. Our drivers will only cut the band strips that hold the cartons to the pallet and hand you down the cartons from the back of the truck. Whoever accepts the delivery MUST check the outside of the cartons for proper quantity and correct item numbers before signing for the order. If you should have any questions, before or during your delivery, please contact our Customer Service Department at 203-639-8475. Please review your order carefully. Packing materials are used to withstand damage from basic delivery practices. Be sure to check the contents themselves as they more than likely are not damaged.

Return Policies

In the rare event you should change your mind AFTER receiving a delivery of flooring, we offer a full refund less a 30% restocking charge and a 3% Credit Card processing fee if one was used for the purchase. We cannot refund the cost of shipping and handling. We MUST be notified no later than 14 days from date of delivery. Special orders or Custom milled hardwood flooring orders cannot be returned. No Exceptions.

To recieve proper credit, you must return your merchandise in resalable condition in the original box and packing materials, including all accessories. Do not discard original packing for 21 days. The value of any missing accessories will be deducted from the credit amount of a return. Always insure your shipment for the value of the product. Certain products may require the manufacturers inspection first, before credit is allowed. Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing credit.
